After twenty-one days, unclaimed suitcases are considered lost, which enable Airlines to sell those luggages through specialist auction houses. This catalogue showcases the objects find in the ‘leftover suitcase’. By interrogating the objects themselves, this project considers how people consume objects as a tools to construct aspect of one’s identity. It proposes a way of knowing oneself through its belonging by exploring, comparing facts and stories on each object which may surprise you.

This typeface was created based on a Logo of what used to be my grandfather’s company. I decided to use this family heritage as a starting point for this typeface. My goal was to bring it up-to-date, to modernised it as it was initially created in the 60s. This company used to make micro mechanics such as watches. This is why, this typeface has been created as a digital clock, capturing this concept of time.
Based on the text ‘Ulysses’ by James Joyce, this project aims to encourage the readers to read this one sentence of 4391 words. This font varies between two states ‘the continuity’ and ‘the disruption’ to show where the readers break the text. The interactive website enables the readers to visually transform the typography and layout based singularly on their voice and reading. By mixing print and interactive media, this project seeks out new ways of experiencing a text.
This is not a walk in the forest
This project asks the following question: How, as graphic designers, we may integrate other senses than sight in communication? This project does not pretend to offer an answer to this question, it starts a questioning around the topic which demands reflection and attention.
